1. What a training session includes

  • A planning call before we meet, about 30 minutes, to agree on the problem, the tool, and what a useful result looks like.
  • A live working session of 2½ hours, in person on Oʻahu or by video, on the task we agreed.
  • Documentation written for your process and your people, in the format agreed during planning (for example a written guide, a video, slides, or a quick reference).
  • One follow-up call, about 30 minutes, within 30 days of the session, at every tier.

2. What a session does not include

  • Software subscriptions, paid AI plans, or any other tool costs. If a job is worth a paid plan, I tell you before you spend anything.
  • Integrations, account setup beyond what the session covers, or custom builds. These can be scoped as a separate setup project (section 7).
  • Ongoing support, on-call monitoring, or unlimited troubleshooting after the follow-up call. Continued help is available through a retainer (section 6) or a booked review (section 8).
  • Voice agents, private or local AI installs, or connections to accounting or scheduling software, unless scoped separately.

3. Pricing, tax, and payment

  • Published prices are per session, per group, not per person, and include Hawaiʻi General Excise Tax.
  • Group size is counted at planning. If more people join on the day, each extra person is added at $100, GET included, rather than moving you to the next tier.
  • Sessions for more than 20 people, association events, and employer workshops are quoted by format and audience.
  • Payment: a 50% deposit at booking holds the date. The balance is due on the day of the session. Card or bank transfer by invoice link; checks accepted for groups.

4. Cancellation and rescheduling

  • Two business days’ notice to reschedule or cancel at no charge. Your deposit carries to the new date.
  • Inside two business days, the deposit is kept as a rebooking fee. One free reschedule in that window if something comes up.
  • If I have to move a session, you pick a new date or get the full deposit back.

5. Location and travel

  • In person anywhere on Oʻahu. Travel is included island-wide.
  • Neighbor islands by video at the published price. In-person visits to Maui, Kauaʻi, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, or Hawaiʻi Island by arrangement, with travel costs quoted and agreed in writing before booking.

6. Retainer

  • A monthly block of my time for questions, tool changes, and processes that stop behaving. Quoted individually once we have worked together.
  • Retainer time is for questions and guidance, not on-call monitoring of your systems.
  • Prepaid monthly, billed on the 1st. Unused time does not roll over. Thirty days’ notice to cancel.

7. Setup projects

  • A written scope, a fixed project fee, a handoff, and an agreed support period, all in writing before work starts.
  • I check what your existing tools already do before proposing anything custom.
  • Work happens in your own accounts. You keep ownership of everything built.

8. Follow-up reviews

  • For previous clients. One agreed question or workflow per session. Quoted per session.
  • Not an open-ended support subscription.

9. Confidentiality and your information

  • Nothing of yours goes into an AI tool until we have agreed, together, what is safe to share, in which account, with which settings.
  • Training, account settings, and redaction reduce risk. They do not guarantee confidentiality, accuracy, or legal compliance. A paid account alone is not a privacy guarantee.
  • I keep what I learn about your business in confidence. A mutual non-disclosure agreement is available on request.
  • I never take your passwords. If a tool needs to be set up inside your account, you log in and I guide you.
  • Recording: sessions are not recorded unless you ask. If you do, you receive and hold the recording, and I delete my copy within seven days of sending it to you.
  • File transfer: we work in your own systems first, whether that is your shared drive, your accounts, or in the room. Anything you send me by email goes into one folder for your business. Nothing of yours goes into an AI tool that we have not agreed on during planning.
  • Retention: your files are deleted 30 days after the follow-up call unless you ask me to keep them, off my devices and out of cloud trash. I keep the guide or walkthrough I wrote for you, since it is the deliverable and my record of the work. Session notes are kept for 12 months for follow-up, then deleted.

10. What AI output is

  • Every draft, table, or summary produced during or after a session is a starting point for your review, not a finished or approved document.
  • You remain responsible for anything you send, publish, or act on.

11. Advice and outcomes

  • I don’t provide legal, tax, or compliance advice. Regulated or sensitive work (for example health, legal, or financial records) may need review by your own IT, legal, or other qualified adviser. I will tell you when I think it does.
  • I don’t guarantee outcomes. Time saved, results, and how well a tool fits depend on your business, your people, and the tool’s own behavior, which changes.

12. Group talks and workshops for associations and employers

  • Live facilitation, beginner workshops, or an adapted group session, agreed in advance with the host.
  • No accreditation, continuing-education credit, or training subsidy is implied unless stated in writing.

13. Testimonials and examples

  • Examples on the website are teaching scenarios with fictional information, not records of client work.
  • Quoted recommendations are from people who have worked with me and are used with their permission.

14. Changes to these terms

  • These terms may change. The version in effect is the one on this page on the day you book, and you are held to that version for the work you booked.
