Before anything AI wrote goes out, check five things.
- Facts. Does it match what you told it? Names, places, details.
- Numbers. Prices, totals, days, and times. Check every one.
- Promises. Does it commit you to anything you didn’t approve? Refunds, discounts, deadlines, freebies.
- Private details. Does it share anything a customer, employee, or tenant didn’t agree to share?
- Made-up extras. Awards, statistics, or claims you never gave it.
Some fields add their own words to avoid, like fair-housing wording in real estate.
Anything off? Fix it, or tell the AI what’s wrong and ask again. Then send.
